Warning: from November 7 2016 the access to the Brunelleschi Dome will be allowed only on reservations required.

The purchase of the ticket does not guarantee entry. You must select the date and timing of visits to the monument.

Timetables

The times of access to the monuments are subject to changes in time due to extraordinary events. The museum will be closed on the first Tuesday of each month.


The climb to the Dome may be restricted in time due to the excessive tourist flow.

Access with a single ticket to all monuments
Ticket

The ticket allows the holder to visit all the monuments within 48 hours of visiting the first one. Each monument may be visited only once with the ticket.
Reservations mandatory for the climb on the Dome. Reservetion raccomended on the Bell Tower and the Museum. The service is free.

The decision to exhibit two sculptures - a terracotta bust of St Lawrence and a terracotta relief of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist - From the Collection of Peter Silverman and Kathleen Onorato at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence came about as part of the comprehensive reassessment of the artistic assets held by the museum, made possible by its expansion and reorganization between 2012 and 2015.

Duomo Experience

From 1 June 2016 the Teatro Niccolini, historic Florentine theater reopened after more than twenty years, will be included in a special tourist route that involves the visitors of The Great Cathedral Museum. A 15 minute film, made in collaboration with Rai.com, will be the introduction to the visit of the monuments of the complex of Piazza Duomo.
